Upholding Dignity
& Safety on Campus

The Anti-Ragging Committee of Sengunthar Nursing College is constituted in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

The committee actively monitors the campus, hostel, and surrounding areas to ensure that no student is subjected to any form of ragging, harassment, or humiliation. It works in close coordination with the Anti-Ragging Squad, counsellors, and local authorities.

Rules, Definitions
& Consequences

  • Educational Eligibility Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects from a recognised board (CBSE, State Board, ICSE, etc.).
  • Minimum Marks Requirement Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCB subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Tamil Nadu norms).
  • Age Criteria Candidate must be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission and not more than 35 years (relaxation for reserved categories as per INC norms).
  • Medical Fitness Candidate must be medically fit as certified by a registered medical practitioner. Colour blindness may affect eligibility for certain clinical postings.
  • Admission Process Admission is subject to TNMGRMU counselling for government quota seats and direct admission for management quota seats as per INC norms.
